Project WiFi is a project spearheaded by law school students with the aim to help students access better education. Meet the team behind the initiative.
Raphael graduated in 2018 with a degree in B.S. Finance and Minor in Economics from Saint Mary's College of California in Moraga, California. Since then, he is currently a third-year law student at the De-La Salle University College of Law and is concurrently working as a Finance Director at RR Resources Pte Ltd., RYS Five Construction and Development Corporation, and MSR Healthcare Inc., all family corporations. Raphael’s driven desire to help alleviate social issues, his ability to take risks, and constant introspection is a refreshing and pleasant change as he delves himself now into the nonprofit sector with the starting of TeamPass Initiatives Foundation Inc., and its initiative, Project Wifi. The generosity and humility needed to be a leader and the power of audacity and integrity in making dreams come true is what Raphael constantly strives to achieve as he continues to work towards his passion and mission in life.
Patricia graduated with a degree in Politicial Science from De La Salle University in 2011 and is currently a 3rd year law student at the same university. She is currently employed in a financial instiution and is a capital market professional well-versed in debt capital market, investment banking, and trust operations. Team Pass Initiatives Foundation is where she pours her heart to help the community guided by stoic philosophy and JFK's famous quote: Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.
Pat graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2015 with a degree in Accountancy and passed the certified public accountant licensure examination in the same year. Currently, she juggles her time as a senior tax consultant in one of the Big 4 accounting firms, a student at the De La Salle University - College of Law, a mother to her 1-year old daughter, and a wife to her supportive husband. Being a co-founder of Team Pass Initiatives Foundation made her realize that no action is too small when it comes to serving fellowmen and even the simplest gesture can inspire a multitude of people.
David graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Communications Technology Management with a minor in Chinese Studies. He is currently a third year law student in the De La Salle University. He is a licensed professional teacher and is currently teaching Senior High School in a private school. He believes in the power of the youth, and hopes that through this initiative, he will be able to contribute to the betterment of the Philippines.
K graduated from De La Salle University with a degree in Psychology. She is currently working in an Australian telecommunications and technology company as a recruiter while completing her law studies. Being a co-founder of Project Wifi enables her to live up to one of Mother Teresa's quotes, "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples". She believes that even a small group of committed and thoughtful citizens can indeed change the world.
